Any2Any e-Platform

This is an experimental site since early April 2005.

The first phase of this development focuses on "promoting and facilitating communications to anyone" via the Web (not anywhere yet) by Internet (and not anytime yet - at least no direct access from the mobile networks). The context in which we communicate is either for mathematics and mathematics education (MME) or RFID-driven e-Business (RFID Information Space, or RFID-IS). Two very diverse topics but yet they share similar traits in community-based any-to-any activities.

For MME, we are enabling AOLA (Author-Once-Learn-Anywhere), breaking the first hurdle of webisizing mathematics (send and receive). We are making a bit more progress with the AOLA language (activityML) editor and the any2any environment [e-activity sharing is coming along - yes, there are so many of this service, why created one more...]. Progress in activityML design and development can be found here . By the end of this year, the A2A community will begin its journey to serve you. For RFID-IS, we are modelling on-demand privacy and security glue for RFID-based information flow in business chains. Some research issues have been identified. We are using the SCOR SCOR model to develop an understanding of supply chain and logistics processes, and with that , we should be charting cases of some manufacturers in the Asia region. Our hope is to base on those findings, RFID adoption can be pinpointed at the process level, information sharing at the process level can be articulated, allowing the interfaces to be developed for the on-demand privacy and security preference platform (OPSP). The framework of OPSP is currently being investigated. This platform enables Plug-and-Sync Visibility™ across supply chains of any partners.

You are required, in some instances, to do a simple registration to ensure orderly communications in the cyber space.
